Oracle Endeca 3.x : Live Site Outage after Experience Manager promote content

Following  exception occurs during Experience Manger promote_content from authoring to Live

User experience is impacted because the front-end application no longer serves Endeca content and start getting Page not found from Endeca response. If this happens, the Assemblers are unable to retrieve their expected content, and the site appears down.

App server Logs:-

2015-10-16 01:03:07,423 SEVERE [com.endeca.infront.publish.LiveContentClient] (Thread-03) Received unknown message from server [NONODES]. Shutting down and reconnecting client [/127.0.0.1:39301]

IFCR Logs:-

16.10.2015 01:03:07.425 *ERROR* [New I/O server worker #1-23] com.endeca.ifcr.publish.impl.content.server.ContentServer Exception caught in channel handling. java.nio.channels.ClosedChannelException

Solution:-

Workaround:-

Running another promote_content will correct the issue immediately. This can be used as an emergency solution.

Permanent Fix: - Apply the following patch for version mentioned in the table.

Note :-Oracle Commerce Endeca 11.2, no longer push experience manager content to Dgraph.
